Can We Just Get a Pause and Some Patience with the CFP?

We have yet to see the first 12-team verion of the College Football Playoff and already the SEC and Big Ten seem to be rushing to the future.

STILLWATER – College athletics and, in particular, college football need to take a “time out” and have some patience rather than try to speed their way past a presence that has not played out into a future with little background to use for decision making. 

What we know:

There are no just four Power Five conferences with the Pac-12 having been picked over like road kill on I-35.
