It's interesting to see that the Cowboys 3 placers are two 5 year super seniors and a 4th year junior.

Experience definitely matters. I view Fix and Plott as underdogs tonight. Hopefully I am wrong.

I don't think Fix's defensive style of wrestling that he has employed during this tournament will be

successful against Vito Arujau of Cornell. Maybe Fix is using a "Rope a Dope" strategy like Ali

used against George Foreman way back when.

I'm actually more optimistic regarding Dustin Plott's chances in his matchup versus Parker Keckeisen of

the University of Northern Iowa. Keckeisen has not slowed down but Plott has been very sharp in this NCAA

Championship. I'm sure Coach Smith and his staff have studied film from the 184 pound Big 12 Championship

Final against Keckeisen and have revised Plott's match strategy accordingly. Dustin Plott could

definitely defeat Parker Keckeisen!

Gotta tip your cap to Izzak Olejnik for earning All American status for the Cowboys. Looks like he still

Has a shot at 5th Place. Olejnik's weight class of 165 is one of the toughest in this year's tournament.
