STILLWATER – You don’t have to convince us at Pokes Report on Ryker Haff because we’ve been impressed with Haff since he was a sophomore at Owasso, even before. Haff visited Oklahoma State this weekend on an official visit with his father, Lee, who played at Central Oklahoma for an NAIA National Championship team; his mom Sonya, and brother Connor, who played offensive tackle for NEO A&M JC under Zach Allen (now at OSU) and at Tulsa. The weekend finished with Haff making a commitment to the Cowboys and offensive line coach Charlie Dickey, head coach Mike Gundy, and offensive line recruiting coach Zach Allen.

“I committed before I left on my visit and will announce it on Wednesday (his 18th biirthday),” Haff told me Sunday. “It’s the people there and how they all treat each other like family and have each other’s back. It is a brotherhood where they take care of each other and hold each other accountable. How could I not commit to that and it’s only an hour and 20 minutes down the road from home. My family is all on board with the decision.”

Haff makes up a group of three offensive linemen in the 2025 class. Addison (Trinity Christian), Texas standout Jaylan Beckley committed on Friday (April 5) and Isaiah Kema, who was a 2023 signee and will be coming in off of a Mormon religious mission.

Now at 6-6, 300 pounds Haff is definitely one of the top offensive line prospects in region and, in our opinion, the nation. We aren’t alone as the well respected Tom Lemming of the Tom Lemming Report and CBS Sports has a high opinion of Haff.

“Terrific footwork, technique, versatility and is a nasty run blocker. Good use of hands and great determination. Can play tackle or guard.⁦@ryker_haff⁩ top lineman in Oklahoma. 2025,” wrote Lemming this winter of the 2025 prospect.

“Mr. Lemming told me that I should be a four-star, but the system doesn’t always reward the best players, It is more important what you do in college,” he said. “Oklahoma State is a place where you can grind and get better. Coach (Rob) Glass in the weight room is going to develop me more into a beast and then Coach (Charlie) Dickey is going to take care of teaching me technique.”

Haff is big, athletic, but he is also very physical and plays the offensive line position with a defensive attitude of being aggressive and attacking. Watch his tape and you will see his ability and his ultra physical mindset. He has a lot of pancakes for the Rams and in 27 games has not allowed a sack.

Haff is an excellent student and an Academic All-State and All-Conference performer.

“I want to study Petrolium Engineering Technology and Oklahoma State is ranked No. 15 in that, so it is good for my course of study and my future outside football,” Haff said. “I do think the coaches can develop me to get to the league (NFL).”

Scholarship offers, which were certain to grow and may still grow, include Iowa State, Texas Tech, Minnesota, Houston, Tulsa, UNLV, Air Force, Navy, and Vanderbilt. Oklahoma and Arkansas have both had Haff on their campus for unofficial visits.

With the pledge of Haff, Beckley, Kema, and wide receiver Matrail Lopez of Idabel that makes four committed in the 2025 class for Oklahoma State.
