Smith Gives Credit to OSU, Family, and Friends, but Especially Lee Roy and Madeline

STILLWATER – John Smith walked down the aisle of the Oklahoma State football team room in the West End Zone of Boone Pickens Stadium. He walked in to a standing ovation, one of the most sincere salutes that I can remember.

The retirement press conference/celebration had to be moved there because every coach, every athletic department employee, and so many current and former wrestlers wanted to be there. Boosters and friends of the program wanted to be there.
