Jaden Perez' Pledge Makes Four Receivers for the 2025 Class for Oklahoma State
STILLWATER – Wide Receiver U seems to be resonating with the 2025 recruiting class as Oklahoma State has now collected four commitments in the class and all from prospects that have been in on official visits. Jaden Perez visited on the first official visit weekend in April and left with a positive impression.
Three players have committed with Matrail Lopez back in March and now Kam Powell and Royal Capell coming off last week’s visits. Perez is a 6-1, 175-pound speedster that has clocked a 4.42 in the forty.
Perez had 48 receptions for San Antonio Brandeis last season as they made the playoffs and ran into one of Perez’ future teammates in Royal Capell and his Cibolo Steele teammates in a big San Antonio playoff rivalry. Steele eliminated Brandeis in the Class 6A-II Bi-District battle. Perez had 577-yards receiving and six touchdowns. As a sophomore he earned All-District 28 6A-II honors for the first time with 45 receptions for 652-yards and five touchdowns.
Perez had offers from the likes of Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, Tulane, and Wisconsin. He is a player big enough to develop into an outside receiver, but also has all the characteristics and talents to play inside.
Again, Perez is commitment No. 7 for the Cowboys with also a signee in 2023 OL Isaiah Kema. Perez is the seventh addition for 2025 on the offensive side. This weekend will be one for the defense to catch up as they have three defensive ends and a corner visiting and two of those defensive ends are top 10 Texas prospects.
