The National Champs Are Paying Attention as Their Game Plan Comes to Stillwater

STILLWATER – Mechanical issues with a private aircraft scheduled to bring new Oklahoma State wrestling head coach David Taylor from State College, Pa to Stillwater caused a postponement to the press conference welcoming Taylor and his family to OSU. That travel party for the introduction now includes Taylor’s brother-in-law and former Penn State assistant coach Jimmy Kennedy and former Iowa wrestler and fellow Nittany Lions Wrestling Club resident athlete Thomas Gilman.

Only part of what makes OSU wrestling great is winning. I hope Taylor can bring the winning and keep the cowboy way. It will be interesting to see John Smiths public opinion.

Iowa was in this same vaulted status from the mid 1970s until the early 1990s under Dan Gable who had much the same bio as Cael Sanderson! Eventually others invested in facilities and infrastructure and became very competitive with Iowa!!!! Same thing will happen with Sanderson and Penn State!!!
