Oklahoma State Jumps Back Into AP Top 25 at No. 17

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State made quite a bit of news on Saturday with the 94-90 overtime upset of No. 7 OU in Norman. So much noise that AP voters couldn’t ignore and put the Cowboys at No. 17 in the latest AP Top 25.

This is the higest the Pokes have been ranked since 2014 and it comes after being unranked last week.

The Cowboys knocked off the No. 7 ranked Sooners 94-90 in overtime this past Saturday in the first of back-to-back Bedlam games.

Freshman sensation Cade Cunningham dropped a career-high 40-points in the win to become just the second player in program history to score 40 or more points in a Bedlam game. Jawun Evans scored 42 against OU back in 2016.

With OU ranked No. 16, this will be the first time since 2005 that Bedlam will feature two top-20 programs. The Cowboys will be going for their third-straight win over the Sooners, and will be looking to win their fifth game in a row and their third-straight against a top-20 opponent.
