Steele Wasel Helps "Pups" Get to Sooner 7 Classic Championship Game

Choctaw quarterback Steele Wasel helped the Yellow Jackets upset their way into the Class 6A-II State Championship Game against Bixby. This weekend he led a group of younger players to a title game in a huge 7v7 Tournament in Oklahoma.

BROKEN ARROW – There were 33 teams playing this past weekend in the 18 and under division of the Sooner 7 Classic seven-on-seven tournament in Broken Arrow, but there was only one team that we know of was made up of players that won’t be graduating high school in 2022. The Sooner 7 under 18 ’23 squad is all sophomores from last season that will be heading into their junior season this fall.
