Mike Gundy Talks 2025 Recruiting Prowess, Stability Still Counts

STILLWATER – Port Arthur (Memorial), Texas defensive end Michael Riles visited back in April and on Thursday morning (June 20) he committed to Oklahoma State announcing on Twitter/X. Riles had offers from everywhere including Texas A&M, Nebraska, Texas, Southern Cal, TCU, Texas Tech and more. The 6-4, 235 pound Top 20 prospect in Texas according to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is rated four-stars by everybody except On3. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know.

I believe with Riles commitment that is three guys with 4 star ranking by the different services! The big offensive lineman Beackley, the QB Schobel and now the DE Riles

I trust Cowboys recruiting processes. But having said that, as a top 10 to 15ish type program, I doubt being in the top 25 or 30ish teams ranking wise shuts up the OSU fans who are also critics. The recruiting explanation Gundy gave on the Tulsa sports show arranged by Duffee should be a must see for those folks. It's a "Talk of the town 918" show.
