don't they have OT or shootouts in regular season?
Oklahoma State Soccer Battles To Draw
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State remained undefeated Thursday night as the 12th-ranked Cowgirls picked up a scoreless draw against Texas State at Neal Patterson Stadium.
With the result, OSU moved to 5-0-1 on the season, while the Bobcats are 2-3-1.
It was a record night for the Cowgirls as they posted their sixth consecutive shutout, tying the program record previously set by the 2011 team.
Grace Gordon tallied four saves in posting her fifth clean sheet of the season. She now has 11 shutouts in her two seasons in an OSU uniform, which is tied for the fifth most in program history.
OSU finished the match with a 25-10 advantage in shots, with 11 of those on goal, and took six corner kicks to just one for the Bobcats.
In the opening half, OSU outshot the Bobcats by a 12-4 margin, but Caitlyn Draper made five saves to keep the home team off the scoreboard.
The second half would see much of the same, with OSU pushing the attack late to try and find the back of the net. Over the final 15 minutes, the Cowgirls recorded eight shots.
Texas State and Draper would bend but not break, however, as Draper made four saves over the final four minutes, including a diving deflection of a left-footed attempt by Adelhia Ghonda with just over three minutes remaining.
The Cowgirls return to action Sunday when they host ULM. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
