STILLWATER – Oklahoma State set a program record for consecutive shutouts and remained undefeated with a 6-0 win over ULM Sunday at Neal Patterson Stadium.

With the win, the 12th-ranked Cowgirls improved to 6-0-1, while ULM suffered its first setback to fall to 6-1-0.

The clean sheet marked the seventh consecutive shutout for OSU, setting a program standard; the 2011 Cowgirls also reached six-straight shutouts. Grace Gordon and Jaidy Gutierrez-Campos combined for four saves to keep the Warhawks off the scoreboard.

OSU is one of only two teams nationally, along with Auburn, that has not allowed a goal this season. Both have recorded seven shutouts.

Logan Heausler collected her second brace of the season to lead the Cowgirls’ attack, and Xcaret Pineda, Laudan Wilson, Nicole Ray and Mabry Williams all found the back of the net in the rout.

Heausler got the scoring started in the 21st minute as Reganne Morris delivered a header into the box that Heausler sent to the far post from 16 yards out.

Just over seven minutes later, the Cowgirls doubled their lead when Pineda used some fancy footwork to juke a defender and smash a shot from just outside the 18-yard box top shelf for her second goal of the season. Wilson and Bella Pierotti collected assists on the play.

Leading 2-0 at the break, OSU poured it on over the final 45 minutes.

Heausler found her second of the match when she headed in a beautiful cross from Ellie Geoffroy to make the score 3-0, and Laudan Wilson put the Cowgirls up by four when she intercepted an attempted clearance and delivered a 25-yard shot to the far post for her first goal of the season.

OSU would go up 5-0 on a goal by Nicole Ray that came off an Adelhia Ghonda assist in the 80th minute, and freshman Mabry Williams capped the scoring when she tallied her first-career goal off an assist from Kynlie Wilson, who made her debut in a Cowgirl uniform.

Statistically dominant as well, OSU finished with a 26-5 advantage in shots in the match and posted all nine of the corner kicks in the game.

The Cowgirls return to action Thursday for their Big 12 Conference opener at Baylor. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
