STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has been selected to host a number of NCAA postseason tournaments, starting in 2027 hosting the Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.

Along with cross country in 2027, they’ll also be hosting the D1 Men’s Golf Regional out at Karsten Creek, followed by the 2028 D1 Men’s Basketball first and second rounds at the BOK Center over in Tulsa, OK.

While the BOK Center has hosted the first and second rounds of the NCAA tournament in 2011, 2017 and 2019, this will mark the first time that Oklahoma State will serve as the host school.

"The first and second rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament represent one of the best four-day stretches on the American sporting calendar," OSU Athletic Director Chad Weiberg said in the released from Oklahoma State. "We're excited to host at the BOK Center."

Karsten Creek has hosted several NCAA events, including the 2018 season in which Oklahoma State won the team title, featuring Viktor Hovland, Matthew Wolff and Kris Ventura.

As for cross country, the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course has previously hosted the NCAA Championships in 2021 and 2022, the 2021 Big 12 Championships and the 2023 Midwest Regional. The course is set to host the Big 12s in 2025 and the Midwest Regional in 2026.

"We are incredibly proud of our course and so appreciative of the Greiner Family for providing us with the opportunity to bring the best cross country meet in the world back to Stillwater," OSU Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Dave Smith said in the release. "We also want to the thank the NCAA Track & Field and Cross Country Committee for their confidence in our ability to host a great championship event."

Details surrounding each event will be announced at a later date and much closer to the event years.
