STILLWATER – Oklahoma State posted its third consecutive win Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Cincinnati at Neal Patterson Stadium.

With the win, the Cowgirls ran their unbeaten streak to five and improved to 11-2-3 overall and 4-2-2 in Big 12 play. Cincinnati is now 6-7-2 and 3-3-2 in the league.

OSU’s lone goal came from senior Alex Morris in the first 27th minute. After receiving a pass from Laudan Wilson at the top of the box, Morris drilled a shot top shelf to the far post. It marked Morris’ third goal of the season, setting a career high, and was her second in the last two games.

Grace Gordon recorded her 10th shutout of the season and 16th of her OSU career. She tallied her lone save in the 84thminute when she leapt to stop a straight-line attempt from Lauren Bastian.

The shutout also marked the 13th of the season for the Cowgirls, who faced eight shots and six corner kicks from the visitors.

OSU returns to action Thursday when the Cowgirls host Iowa State at Neal Patterson Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
