Postgame Notes: Oklahoma State 28 Baylor 38
Postgame Notes
- Brennan Presley had one of the best games in his storied career with 183 yards and a touchdown on 15 receptions.
A closer look at Presley’s outstanding afternoon in Waco:
- With 15 catches on Saturday, Presley now holds three of the top four spots on the single-game list for most catches by a Cowboy (T-1st, 16 vs. Texas A&M on December 27, 2023; T-3rd, 15 at Houston on November 18, 2023, and at Baylor October 26, 2024). No other Cowboy has ever had more than one game with at least 14 receptions.
- Presley’s 183 receiving yards are the most by a Cowboy since his 189-yard outing against Houston last season on November 18 and is the second-highest total of his career behind that same performance.
- After 30 minutes of action, Presley had hauled in nine catches on nine targets for 135 yards and a touchdown, marking the most receiving yards by a Cowboy in a single half since Dillon Stoner had 180 in the opening half at Baylor on December 12, 2020. It was also the most receiving yards Presley has ever had in a single half and his fourth time surpassing 100 receiving yards in the first half of a game.
- Presley produced the highlight play of the game when he broke several tackles on a screen pass from Alan Bowman and found the end zone from 33 yards out to tie the game at 10-10 with 9:22 left in the second quarter. It improved Presley’s team-leading receiving touchdown total to six and gave him 22 for his career.
- Presley tallied his first 100-yard receiving game of the season and sixth of his career.
- Presley has also caught multiple passes in 38 consecutive games and at least three in 16 straight.

- With Baylor threatening late in the opening quarter, Kobe Hylton stepped in front of Sawyer Robertson’s pass for the first interception of his career. OSU picked off BYU three times last week and entered Saturday’s game top 20 in the country with nine interceptions.
- For the fifth time this season, Oklahoma State scored on its opening drive when Logan Ward converted a 45-yard field goal to put the Cowboys up, 3-0. The drive was catapulted by Alan Bowman’s 56-yard yard completion to Da’Wain Lofton, the longest catch of his career.
- After his first pass attempt of the game fell incomplete, Alan Bowman completed 10 consecutive passes for 168 yards and a touchdown. He finished the contest
- with 359 yards, one touchdown and an interception on 28-for-42 passing.
