STILLWATER – There is no cover up, no justification, Oklahoma State’s defense is really struggling. The Cowboys showed better effort against Arizona State last Saturday than the previous game on the road at Baylor. The numbers were better but still bad. The Cowboys are No. 132 of 134 in total defense (503.1-ypg), No. 132 in rushing defense (248.1-ypg), and No. 109 in passing yards allowed (255.0-ypg).

It has been fun watching these young players contribute this year. Ford currently leads all Power 4 true freshmen in average pass block PFF grade, He is in the top 5 amongst that same group in receiving yards. Kabongo is ranked 3rd in the Power 4 for average run defense PFF grade for safeties and is in the top 20 in tackles in all of Power 4 schools amongst true freshmen safeties as well. I look forward to watching this freshmen class in the coming years.
