Chuba Hubbard Receives Contract Extension From Carolina Panthers

Former Oklahoma State star running back, Chuba Hubbard, just cashed in as he signed a contract extension with the Carolina Panthers on Thursday.

It’s a four-year extension, and according to an article from ESPN, the deal is worth $33 million with a maximum value of $37.2 million and $15 million in new fully guaranteed dollars.

Hubbard is having a monster season this year for the Panthers as he’s currently fifth in the NFL in rushing yards with 665, while getting into the end zone six times. His six touchdowns currently leads the Panthers. He’s also 10th in the NFL with 33 first downs.

Chuba was drafted by the Panthers in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and has had four really good seasons with the Panthers, totaling 2,645 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns, putting him sixth all-time in rushing yards in Panthers’ history.

He’s also hauled in 127 receptions for 686 yards and two touchdowns.
