Oklahoma State dropped a tough one 51-49 to Iowa State up in Ames. With the loss, the Cowboys fell to 5-3 overall on the season and 3-2 in Big 12 play.

Head coach Eric Morris met with the media following the game, which you can watch in its entirety above.

“Obviously, a super disappointing one; just self-inflicted wounds like crazy,” Eric Morris said after the game. “We’ll start there: obviously, giving them two possessions in the first half was a huge deal. They did a nice job of keeping the ball away from us. The most disappointing thing about that is defensively, what [Iowa State] was able to do at will against us, obviously, super balanced and we didn’t make them one dimensional at all: they had a ton of explosive runs, they had explosive passes. And two, to put the nail in the coffin at the end on Halloween night, we have the most selfish penalty ever after we score a touchdown and go up and put our defense in a bad position. That falls on me, that falls on me as the head coach and I’ll get that fixed.”
