Day After Season Ends, Oklahoma State Hosting J.C. Corner Quandarius Keyes
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football arrived back in Stillwater around 6:20 p.m. on Friday night following the final game of the season, a disappointing 52-0 loss at No. 25 Colorado. That said, the Cowboys recruiting staff and head coach Mike Gundy weren’t wasting time. The program starter and official visit on Saturday hosting Pearl River C.C. cornerback Quandarius Keyes. Keyes had a connecting flight that was missed, but he has arrived in Stillwater and the 6-2, 180 pound preseason junior college All-American is heading to Vintage Steakhouse with members of the staff and a player host.
Keyes has offers from Boise State (visited Nov. 8), Central Arkansas, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Hawaii, Jacksonville State, Louisiana Tech, Liberty, Louisiana, Memphis, Missouri State, Old Dominion, South Alabama, South Florida, Temple, Toledo, Troy, Western Kentucky and UNLV.
Keyes finished the season this year with 15 tackles, seven unassisted, an interception, a fumble recovered, eight passes defended. In his freshman season (2023) he had 11 tackles, broke up four passes, recovered one fumble and intercepted one pass and returned interception 97 yards for a touchdown. He recored the fumble and returned it 10-yard for a touchdown against No. 7 Jones College. He picked off a pass and returned it 97-yards in and 35-14 win over Southwest Mississippi. Keyes was named All-MACCC Honorable Mention.
He played his high school football at Laurel, Miss. and ended his senior season with 14 tackles, three pass breakups and three interceptions. He played offense too. Keyes caught 35 passes for 536 yards and 12 touchdowns and was named first-team All-State. He also played basketball.
Oklahoma State has one cornerback committed in the 2025 recruiting class in Kobi Foreman of Richardson (Berkner), Texas.
