OU Offers Oklahoma State 2025 Quarterback Commit Jett Niu
STILLWATER – It wouldn’t be Signing Day if there wasn’t some major news breaking about recruiting. Unfortunately, this time it involved Oklahoma State as Brent Venables and his new offensive coordinator at Oklahoma, Ben Arbuckle, have extended an offer to the Cowboys quarterback commitment in the 2025 class, Jett Niu.
Niu committed to the Pokes back on September 10.
Out of Lehi, Utah, Niu checks in at 6-3, 190 pounds and was originally committed to Appalachian State before flipping to the Pokes in September.
This is obviously a major threat to the Pokes’ recruiting class heading into Signing Day in the morning. Despite the down year, OU is a national powerhouse and is in the SEC with all the money they could want. They also have a lot of momentum following the hiring of the new OC, Arbuckle, on Monday afternoon.
Regardless of what happens with Niu, the Cowboy coaching staff is contemplating bringing a quarterback in out of the transfer portal in the next month.
This is definitely something to keep an eye on heading into Wednesday morning.
