Report: Lyrik Rawls to Enter the Transfer Portal
STILLWATER – Another Oklahoma State player is entering the transfer portal. On Wednesday, it was reported by CBS Sports that safety Lyrik Rawls intends to enter the transfer portal per his agent.
A redshirt junior out of Marshall, TX, Rawls has dealt with injuries such as missing all but three games in 2023, and was believed was to be moved from safety to linebacker going into next season.
Rawls recorded just 23 total tackles this past season, 11 of which were solo stops, three pass break ups and one interception.
In three games in 2023, Rawls recorded 20 total tackles and one pick as a starter before getting injured and missing the rest of the year. In 2022, Rawls played in 12 games, recording 24 total tackles, one forced fumble and one pass break up.
Rawls is the third player to enter his name into the transfer portal, joining Da’Wain Lofton and Jason Brooks.
