Doug Meacham Ready to Roll Up the Sleeves at Oklahoma State as OC

STILLWATER – The voice on the other end of the early afternoon phone call was excited and the first thing Doug Meacham said, “are you ready to get another little league team together?” Meacham was referring to when he was coaching at Oklahoma State and he asked me to coach his son, the sons of several other assistant coaches, and Dr. Val Gene Iven’s son Carson in little league football. We won some games, and Meacham was active in putting it all together.
