Ollie Gordon II Accepts Senior Bowl Invite
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State running back, Ollie Gordon II, has accepted an invitation to play in the upcoming Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Gordon II joins defenders Collin Oliver and Nick Martin, who both accepted invites after the season. The game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 1, and will be televised on the NFL Network.
One of the best players in college football, Gordon posted one of the best seasons we’ve seen from an OSU running back in 2023. He recorded 285 carries for 1,732 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also had 39 receptions for 330 yards and one touchdown through the air.
He recorded at least nine games of at least 100 rushing yards, with two games over 200 yards. He posted a season high 282 yards and four touchdowns against West Virginia and 271 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries against Cincinnati.
Following the season, Ollie won the Doak Walker Award, which is given to the best running back in the country, was named a unanimous All-American, the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year by both the AP and coaches and unanimous First Team All-Big 12.
2024 was a down year for just about every Cowboy as they went 0-9 in Big 12 play. But Ollie still finished with 190 carries for 880 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had 29 receptions for 179 yards and one touchdown.
