Dalton Cooper Accepts Invite to East-West Shrine Bowl
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State tackle, Dalton Cooper, is headed to Arlington, TX, to play in the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl.
The game, which has traditionally been played in Tampa, FL, is in its the 100th year, and takes place at 7 p.m. CT on January 30, televised on the NFL Network.
Cooper transferred to Oklahoma State back ahead of the 2023 season, and was a part of a really good offense that season. As a team, the Cowboys averaged 155 rushing yards per game, a total of 430 yards per game.
Obviously, the success of running back, Ollie Gordon II, propelled the Cowboys to a 10-win season in 2023, which included wins over Oklahoma in the final Bedlam game in the foreseeable future, an appearance in the Big 12 title game and a win over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl.
Cooper is originally out of Prague, OK, and checks in at 6-7, 315 pounds. So, the NFL size is certainly there. Now, he’ll have his chance to show a little bit more on the field to NFL scouts.
