STILLWATER – Let’s take inventory. Running back Ollie Gordon II, who has gained 1,920-yards on 537 carries with 36 rushing touchdowns. That’s an average of 3.58-yards a carry. Gordon II will be at the NFL Combine in two weeks. He was the top back in practice for the Senior Bowl in Mobile.

We got Howland from a 2nd rate Indiana team that was jettisoning players, I don't think he played much SEC ball.

(yeah, probably a typo, but it totally changes his storyline)

It's frightening that our deepest position group has practically zero experience, and no experience in this offense.

If true, it's almost a shame, since we're going to cutting the yards for RBs in about half, giving those carries to the QB.

I hate to talk about the portal anymore, but dang, this is frightening. IMHO

Good insight on the RBs. Low on experience by high on potential it sounds. Wasn't aware Indiana had joined the SEC - but hey there has been a lot of re-alignment (ha). Kidding aside, did Howland play somewhere else prior to Indiana? I looked up his bio but didn't see anything. I do recall he was one of IUs leading backs (despite somewhat modest numbers at the time).
