Oklahoma State Offers 2026 Houston (TX) St. Thomas Defensive End Obinna Umeh

Oklahoma State is still looking to add defensive ends and edge players in the 2026 class, and the coaches are turning their attention to Houston, TX, and Obinna Umeh. 

Umeh checks in at 6-4, 225 pounds, and he currently holds 15 offers, with several Ivy League schools in the mix. Oklahoma State is one of the most recently schools to have offered, along with Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, LA tech Pitt, Princeton, Rice, Tulsa, UNLV and Yale among others, with most of his offers coming within the past week.

This past season as a junior, Umeh recorded 58 total tackles with 19 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and 19 hurries, four pass break ups and one fumble recovery. 

The Cowboys currently have one commitment in the ‘26 class in Pearland defensive end, Jaylen Stewart.
