
Oklahoma State Announces Orange Power Weekend Details
STILLWATER – We’ve entered the third week of spring football, meaning we’re inching ever-so closer to Oklahoma State football’s spring event on April 19.
Cowboy football announced on Tuesday morning the details for the Orange Power Weekend April 18-20, which features a jam-packed weekend of sports.
Cowboy baseball kicks the weekend off on Friday the 18th with a 6 p.m. first pitch against Houston. They’ll have a 6 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. first pitch on Sunday. Cowgirl soccer will host Tulsa on Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
On the day of the spring event, the Remember the Ten Run kicks the day off with an 8 a.m. start, which will be followed by the spring event for Cowboy football, which is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m. in Boone Pickens Stadium.
The event is free and open to the public, with free parking available in lot 6, which is the lot directly to the south of the stadium.
Beginning a 12:30 p.m. will be an exclusive meet-and-greet with the football team for the Pistol Pete’s Partners. It takes place on the field before the start of the spring event. According to the athletic department, more information will be mailed to members leading up to the event. Access is still available by going to okstate.com/kidsclub and families can purchase a membership for children born in 2012 or later by April to get access to the event.
The gates to the spring event will open at 1 p.m., with the hour-long practice scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m. There will be a meet and greet for all fans on the field that will last an hour. Fans will enter and exit the field via the ramps under the video board on the east side of the stadium.
