STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State quarterback, Alan Bowman, is headed back to Michigan to play football at the next level. It was announced on Monday Bowman has signed with the Michigan Panthers of the UFL.
Bowman spent the final two years of his collegiate career with the Cowboys, helping lead the Pokes to a berth in the Big 12 title game in 2023. During his two seasons, Bowman played in 25 games, completing 60% of his passes, 508 of 84, for 5,883 yards and 31 touchdowns with 26 interceptions.
His ’23 season was the better of the two, helping lead the Pokes to a 10-4 overall recorded, 7-2 in Big 12 play, with a 27-24 win over Oklahoma in the final Bedlam game for the foreseeable future, a berth into the Big 12 title game and a 31-23 win over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl down in Houston.
In that season, he threw for nearly 3,500 yards and 15 touchdowns and 14 interceptions with a 61% completion rating, with 247 yards per game.
The ’24 season was a bad season for just about everyone on the OSU roster, with Bowman’s stats taking a dip. He threw for just over 2,400 yards with 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Bowman began his career at Texas Tech, before transferring to Michigan for two seasons before finishing his career in Stillwater.
