All Three Oklahoma State 2025 High School Prospects Have Signed
STILLWATER – While Steve Lutz and Co. are looking to complete the roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season out of the transfer portal, all three high school prospects in the 2025 class have signed.
It was announced on Wednesday big man, Ben Ahmed, officially signed with the Pokes as he was the final of three who had not signed.
"Ben is a physical, left-handed post player who is coming to us from one of the best prep school programs in the country,” Steve Lutz said of Ahmed. “He's a hard worker and a relentless rebounder who understands what it takes to prepare, compete and win at the highest levels, having played in three straight national title games. I'm excited to officially welcome him to the Cowboy Basketball family!"
Ahmed comes to Stillwater from Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut, where he spent the past three seasons. He finished his prep career with two national prep championships and as the program’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder.
This past season as a senior, Ahmed posted just over 12 points per game on 57% shooting from the floor, along with just over eight rebounds per game.

Ahmed joins fellow big, Mekhi Ragland, and sharpshooter, Ryan Crotty, who both signed back in November.
"We always want to play through our big men, and Mekhi gives us that ability,” said coach Lutz. “He's a strong and physical post presence who has an outstanding feel for the game, particularly as a passer. He has good hands, quick feet and a shooting touch that extends all the way out to the perimeter. Mekhi will benefit from a year with Coach Lindsted and the staff at Sunrise Christian Academy, and I'm excited to watch his continued progress. He's a great kid with a bright future, and I'm glad it's with us."
As for Crotty, this is what Lutz had to say.

"Ryan is a tireless worker who puts team goals ahead of his own. Last year he set Virginia's high school three-point record, but what most impressed me was the way that he did it – within the flow of the offense for a state championship team. He's been well-coached and has a real understanding of spacing and how to get himself open. Combine that with his size and a quick release, and you can see why he's become one of the nation's elite shooters. He's also a wonderful person and student. We're glad he's decided to join us for his next chapter."
