STILLWATER - Oklahoma State had a monster offensive effort Tuesday night, smashing six home runs en route to a 16-4 run-rule win over No. 22 Dallas Baptist in seven innings at O'Brate Stadium.

With the win, OSU snapped a five-game losing streak against DBU dating back to 2023 and improved to 18-19 on the season, while the Patriots fell to 28-12.

Nolan Schubart led the charge, making history with his 50th and 51st career home runs. The Cowboys' junior slugger became the ninth player in program history to reach the 50-homer mark, and he now ranks eighth on OSU's all-time home run list.

Schubart was one of four Cowboys, along with Alex Conover, Jayson Jones and Colin Brueggemann, to record three hits against the Patriots.

Brueggemann, Conover, Jones and Brock Thompson all homered, with Jones' three-run blast in the seventh providing the walk-off runs.

Hunter Watkins made his eighth start of the season, pitching five innings and allowing two runs, just one of them earned, while striking out seven to get the win and move to 5-2.

DBU scratched across a run in the first inning on a couple of hits to take a 1-0 lead that did not last long.

Jones and Brueggemann led off the bottom of the second inning with singles, and after a loud out off the bat of Ian Daugherty, Thompson left the stadium with a 437-foot home run. It was the freshman's third homer of the season and gave the Pokes a 3-1 lead.

The Patriots cut that advantage to one in the fourth on a Landon Underhill double that fell into shallow centerfield.

In the bottom of the fifth, Schubart hit a towering two-run home run to right field to extend the lead to 5-2; it was Schubart's historic 50th home run as a Cowboy.

Schubart's blast was just the beginning of a six-run outburst for the Cowboys in the fifth. Brueggeman ripped a double to plate Kollin Ritchie, Daugherty blooped a single to score Jones, Drew Culbertson grounded out to score Brueggemann and Conover laced a double to score Daugherty as the Pokes took a 9-2 advantage.

In the sixth, Drew Blake replaced Watkins and struck out the lone batter he faced before Matthew Brown took over and retired the final two batters of the inning.

In the bottom of the frame, Schubart hit another loud home run, bringing his team-leading total to 11. Three batters later, Brueggemann joined in on the fun and hit his ninth round-tripper of the year over the wall in left-center field.

DBU scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh, but further damage was prevented when Brennan Phillips struck out Jake Bennett with the bases loaded to end the frame.

The Cowboys got those two runs right back in the bottom of the inning, with Conover hitting a two-run home run to bring his RBI total on the night to three.

Four batters later, Jones stepped to the plate with two runners on and crushed a homer to left field to provide the final winning margin.

Up next, OSU travels to Cincinnati for a three-game Big 12 series, with Friday's opener scheduled for a 5 p.m. (CDT) first pitch.
