hmm... I wonder if he chose to return, or was asked to return? LOL
Welcome back Cowboy!
we sure need his size, experience or not.
STILLWATER – Steve Lutz and Co. are still looking to fill some spots heading into the summer, but that number shrunk by one as soon-to-be-sophomore Andrija Vukovic took to his Instagram to announce he’s returning next season.
A source told Pokes Report Vukovic had elected to return home to Serbia, so this is good news for Oklahoma State.
The 6-10, 245-pound big played in 14 games this past season, averaging 1.6 points and 0.4 rebounds per game in just 4.1 minutes per game.
Having spent half of the 2024 offseason, all year and now the spring and full offseason in 2025 will greatly benefit Vukovic.
Alongside the news on Vukovic, Lutz and Co. are hosting two players out of the transfer portal. Pokes Report reported UAB transfer wing/forward, Christian Coleman.
Coleman checks in at 6-8, 205 pounds and is originally out of Franklin Parish out of Winnsboro, LA. He’s been hearing from a number of schools, including Arizona State, who he visited a few weeks back, Cincinnati, Memphis, OU and Seton Hall among others.
This past season as a senior, Coleman averaged nearly 12 points on 53% shooting from the floor and 7.1 rebounds per game. And for the biggest surprise you’ll probably read all portal season, he shot 0% from 3-point range as he attempted and missed his one 3-point shot of the season across 37 games and more than 1,000 minutes of action.
Also in town is UTSA transfer point guard, Marcus Millender.
Millender, who’s coming off a sophomore season with the Roadrunners, transferred from South Alabama following his freshman season. He checks in at 5-11, 180 pounds.
He played in 31 games this past season, starting in 28, and averaged 15 points per game on 44% shooting from the floor. He also shot an impressive 44% from 3-point range, with 3.0 rebounds per game and 102 assists on the season with just 51 turnovers and 53 steals. That’s just over three assists per game.
This would be a very good addition for the Pokes following the departure of Arturo Dean to the transfer portal.
He was definitely asked to reconsider, but obviously had to make the decision on whether or not he wanted to return. They need the size down low and will definitely need to continue to work with him on getting better, but good to have him back.RodeoPoke said:

One of the main dangers of bringing players in out of the portal, especially with guys they kind of had to go and get last year based on limited recruiting time, is guys not realizing just how different everything is going to be from the visit. I've been told a few of the guys left because they didn't get along with the coaching staff as well as they thought and I've been told at least one guy left because he felt they brought in a similar player who would take his playing time away.golson47@yahoo.com said:
Anyone know why we've lost so many players to the portal?
No word yet, but I would imagine they have a good chance to get him. I'll certainly be keeping my eyes and ears out for any info.minman said:
Any word on Millender?
