
Oklahoma State Offers Tulsa Transfer Quarterback Banks Bowen
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has extended an offer to quarterback, Banks Bowen, a transfer from Tulsa.
Bowen, the son of current OSU offense quality control coach, checks in at 6-3, 208 pounds and is coming off his true freshman season at TU.
He was a three-year letterwinner at Lawrence (KS) High School, where his dad was the head coach, starting his junior and senior seasons. He’s a dual-threat quarterback, throwing for 4,144 yards and 36 touchdowns, while rushing for 2,109 yards and 27 touchdowns.
As a senior, Bowen completed 62% of his passes for 2,368 yards and 23 touchdowns, while rushing for nearly 900 yards and nine touchdowns with an average of 7.4 yards per carry.
Bowen entered the transfer portal within hours of former OSU quarterback, Garret Rangel, announced he was entering the transfer portal.
There are currently two quarterbacks on the roster for the Pokes, Zane Flores and Hauss Hejny.
