STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has brought in another offensive lineman out of the transfer portal, this time out of the Big Ten in former Nebraska lineman, Grant Seagren.

Seagren was in Stillwater on an official visit this past weekend, along with new tight end commitment from Utah State, Grayson Brousseau.

He was also offered by Wisconsin out of the portal.

Checking in at 6-6, 305 pounds, Seagren is entering his redshirt sophomore season and played in seven games for the Huskers last season.

Originally out Oakland, Nebraska, Seagren was a two-way standout at Oakland-Craig HS, playing tight end and defensive line with a C-2 state championship as a junior. He had seven receptions for 186 yards and four touchdowns, with 27 total tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack.

We need SEC type weights for linemen. 330-340 lbs.

Surely ( I already know, don't call you Shirley )...out of all the transfer offensive lineman OSU has brought in, plus the returning linemen, plus new offensive line coaches...the offensive line just had to be better than what was put on the field last year, doesn't it. I'll listen to all opinions. PS...OSU ought to be able to two deep on the roster chart, in my opinion.

This a depth and developmental addition. There's a lot of potential with Seagren and they're gonna get him in the weight room and beefed up.

I'll say here about the O-line (and defense) like I've said on my radio show: it can't be much worse. It sure seems like the coaches have improved a bunch of position, we'll just have to see how the coaches put it all together. They certainly seem hungrier than the previous staff.

The defense was literally the worst in CFB last year. No chance it's any worse lol.

Quarterback play was dismal last year and the Achilles heal of that season. Gundy has to shoulder the blame and responsibility for placing Bowman in that position and as such he needs to be held accountable. We can't have the same mistake made this coming season. Without a viable QB you don't have a team.

The defense was way worse than the offense last year, and it wasn't even close. Both Flores and Hejny will play this season. At worst, we will have packages for HH like we did with JW Walsh when he was the backup. Book it.
