I get your point that bleak implies hopeless, and we're not hopeless, but we might be.
That QB may be the fastest we've seen, but IMHO it's a giant stretch to already label him the best. In my world, "the best" means proven statistical results, relatively injury free, and stays more than 2 seasons.... the jury is still out.
