Oklahoma State Offers 2026 Lexington (TX) HS Quarterback Kase Evans
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has offered another 2026 quarterback, this time out of Lexington, TX, in Kase Evans.
Evans checks in at 6-3, 198 pounds and currently holds nine offers, including Abilene Christian, Arkansas State, FAU, Old Dominion, Texas State, Tulane, UTEP and UTSA. So, as you can see, the Cowboys are his first P5 offer, but with how recruiting works, it won’t stay that way for long.
Evans is coming off a very strong junior season where he threw for 3,113 yards on a completion rate of 61%. He threw for 37 touchdowns with just seven interceptions, helping the Eagles to a 12-2 overall record, falling to Tidehaven, 35-21, in the regional final of the 2024 UIL Texas HS playoffs. Tidehaven fell to Woodville in the semifinals, who lost to Gunter in the 3A title game.
Lexington improved from 2023 to 2024 under Evans, who also started as a sophomore. He threw for nearly 3,000 yards in 2023 with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions on a 57% completion rate.
Evans has improved year after year and is set for solid senior season.
As I mentioned above, Evans’ recruiting process will blow up now that OSU has offered. That’s how it’s worked for years, but this might be a little bit different as Mike Farrell, a reporter who helps HS athletes get exposure with colleges, was on Rick Neuheisel’s national radio show on SiriusXM and announced the Cowboys had offered Evans.
