Oklahoma State Offers the Son of T.J. Rubley, Regis Catholic Soph. Luke Rubley
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State fans will remember T.J. Rubley, the former Tulsa Golden Hurricane and NFL quarterback threw for quite a few yards on Oklahoma State defenses. He and his wife, Julie, have quite a family of signal callers. Now, the youngest in the family and a very talented sophomore-to-be Luke showed off on the final day of minicamps with the Mike Gundy Football Camps and earned a scholarship offer from the Cowboys. Luke Rubley is in the class of 2028 but he has had quite a spring and summer. He was the most accurate quarterbakc in Los Angeles at a pre Elite 11 event in March. He has showed out at other camps including Florida State and he earned a scholarship offer there.
Luke Rubley started last season at Regis Catholic in Aurora, Colo. He led them into the playoffs and they finished with a 6-6 record/3-2 in conference. Rubley completed 187-of-305 passing for 1,983-yards and a healthy 165.3 yards-per-game. He had 16 touchdowns passes and just five interceptions. Rubley is 6-3, 192 pounds and hada 29.2 vertical and ran a 4.77 in the forty. He has a tremendous arm and that came through easily in the camp on Sunday. Besides Oklahoma State he has offers from Arkansas, Colorado State, Florida State, Indiana, and Minnesota.
His three older brothers all played quarterback; Jake at Kansas State, Ryan at Tulsa and Augustana College, and Blake in junior college.
