
Oklahoma State Offers Pair of 2027 Defensive Backs
STILLWATER – Recruiting continues for Oklahoma State Cowboy football as the coaching staff has extended offers to a pair of defensive back prospects in the 2027 class.
Both safeties in the class, Isaiah Udom is originally out of Mansfield, TX, and Gabriel Osborne Jr. is out of Mustang, OK.
Starting with Osborne, he checks in at 6-3, 180 pounds and currently holds offers from Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, Kansas State, OU, Tulane and Tulsa.
This past season as a sophomore, he recorded 43 total tackles, including for tackles for loss, with 10 pass break ups, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble, three interceptions, including one for a touchdown, two punt returns for touchdowns and one kickoff return for a score.
He’s also a talented player out on the basketball court.
Just a dynamic playmaker on whatever court or field he’s on.
As for Udom, he checks in at 6-6, 185 pounds and currently holds offers from Oklahoma State, Baylor, Houston, Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Oregon, Oregon State and Sacramento State.
Based on his X account, it appears Udom will be playing for South Oak Cliff this upcoming season as a junior. But he posted some insane stats as a sophomore for Mansfield, recording 84 total tackles, 63 of which were solo stops, including two tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and nine pass break ups.
