Oklahoma State Announces Big 12 Media Day Attendees

With Big 12 Football Media Days right around the corner, Oklahoma State has announced the players its sending to Frisco, TX.

As expected, the Pokes won’t be sending any quarterbacks.

Seniors safety Cam Smith and defensive lineman Iman Oates and sophomore tight end Josh Ford will be making their Big 12 Media Day debut down at The Star in Frisco on day two, July 9.

This was a topic I’ve been wondering about the past few weeks simply based on all the turnover the Cowboys have experienced the past six months.

There was never any chance Mike Gundy was going to send a quarterback and most of the position players either weren’t starters last season or weren’t even on the roster.

Oates is coming off a 25-tackle junior season, which included three tackles for loss and two sacks.

Smith recorded 34 total tackles, 25 of which were solo stops, with eight pass break ups, one forced fumble and one interception for 51 yards.

As for Ford, the true sophomore, he broke on the scene as a true freshman last year. He recorded just one catch for 26 yards, but showed a ton of promise and is set for a break out season in the fall.

Here’s the full list of the players from each school.

Stats are not correct for Josh Ford. See official stats below.

The 1 total catch didn't sound right to me either.
