Season Tickets Going Faster, Price Goes Down on Kickoff Club Season Pass
STILLWATER – We’ve lauded and applauded Oklahoma State fans for continuing to buy their football season tickets and do the most important thing they can, most fans can to support the overall athletic department. The athletic department also announced a price drop on the new Kickoff Club inside Gallagher-Iba Arena on game days.
Football season tickets along with the conference payout are major revenue streams for all of OSU athletics. It is essential and in just the past three seasons where in 2022 Oklahoma State got close to a sellout season, 2023 where the stadium sold out by the end of October, and then in 2024 the stadium was sold out before the opening kickoff.
On Wednesday, July 2, Oklahoma State sent out an update to season ticket holders and POSSE members that read this way: less than 1,400 football season tickets remain.
“I think our fans have done a great job of responding,” Oklahoma State athletics director Chad Weiberg told The Tulsa World. “Based on the conversations I’ve had with fans, they don’t like (the increases) but at the same time they understand why we had to do it. They understand that there currently aren’t any other solutions.”
The POSSE email also stated that there were less than 190 Bank of Oklahoma Club Level seats left. We know the suites are sold out.
“I’m so proud of our fans on selling out every suite in the stadium, “ head coach Mike Gundy said. “That is better than so many fan bases in the nation. That is a group of people showing a lot of loyalty to our program and Oklahoma State in general.”
It also reported that the sales for the three-game mini season ticket package that includes home games with Tulsa on Sat., Sept. 19; Houston on Sat., Oct. 11; and the regular season ender with Iowa State on Sat. Nov. 29.
Located indoors on the 200-level of Gallagher-Iba Arena, the Kickoff Club is premium pregame experience built for fans who want to arrive early, watch other games and avoid unpredictable tailgating weather. Included in the climate-controlled space are a full buffet, several TVs, seating and a cash bar. Originally, this was thought to be priced higher, but the $250.00 price announced for the season brings that price down to $35.72 per game and that is a great value.
