STILLWATER – Steve Lutz and Co. are set to host another top prospect in the 2026 class, this one being an OSU legacy in Owasso standout, Jalen Montonati.
Montonati checks in at 6-7,180 pounds and is (this) close to being a five-star prospect as he’s the No. 27 overall prospect in the ‘26 class, the No. 13 overall small forward and the No. 1 prospect in Oklahoma according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Entering his senior season, Jalen is the two-time defending Gatorade Oklahoma Basketball Player of the Year. He averaged 23 points, six rebounds and three assists a game this past season as a junior, helping lead Owasso to a 24-5 overall record.
As a sophomore, he averaged nearly 24 points a game, five rebounds and 2.4 and one block a game.
Montonati who holds 20-plus offers, is the son of former Oklahoma State standout, Brian Montonati, who averaged close to eight points and five rebounds a game, while shooting close to 53% from the field.
