STILLWATER – This will be the big challenge for Oklahoma State in the non conference portion of the 2025 schedule. I remember when this game was first announced with a playful social media exchange between the Cowboys Pistol Pete and the Oregon Duck mascot. It was well received as it appeared that the nation would get a meeting between two of the consistent Top 25 teams in the last decade plus in Mike Gundy’s Cowboys and Dan Lanning’s Ducks.

Interesting in that they also seem unsettled at Quaterback even with Dante Moore having played as a true freshman at UCLA in 2023 with a 53.5% completion percentage and an 11 to 9 TD to interception ratio! I remember watching the UCLA vs Utah game that season at our tailgate and seeing Whittingham dial up the pressure and end up sacking Moore seven times and causing him to have an interception returned for a touchdown and also forced him to fumble which led to another Utah TD!!! Utah won the game 14 - 7 in a mostly defensive slug fest!
