David Taylor and Oklahoma State Land Commitment From Michael White in 2026 Class
STILLWATER – David Taylor and Co. continue to improve Oklahoma State’s 2026 class as it was announced on Monday Michael White, the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2026 class, has committed to the Cowboys. He was previously committed to Minnesota.
White has had a great summer. He went 7-1 at Fargo in July, finishing in third with five tech falls, a medical forfeit before losing by fall in the third-place match.

Projected at 197 pounds once he arrives in Stillwater, White wrestled at 92 kg at the U.S. Open this year, roughly 200 pounds, finishing in seventh place. He wrestled at 175 pounds his sophomore season and had a second-place finish at the Indiana state tournament this past spring at 190 pounds.
What’s impressive about White, who’s due for a solid senior season, didn’t start wrestling until his freshman season.
White joins an already stacked 2026 class, featuring the No. 1 overall wrestler in the class in Jax Forrest, who’s wrestling for the U.S. senior men’s team at the World Championships in September, Dreshaun Ross and the Raney brothers of Jayden and Jordyn. In fact, four of the top six wrestlers on the FloWrestling big board are in David Taylor’s class.
Kellen Wolbert checks in at No. 36 and Rocklin Zinkin, who won at Fargo last month, is No. 100. Both are committed to the Cowboys.
