UPDATED: Oklahoma State Spring Transfer Portal Tracker-Gregory to K-State

STILLWATER – The Transfer Portal window is starting to edge to close and it is also emptying out a little more rapid for players still in it. Oklahoma State had a staggering 64 players in the portal at one time. safety Cameron Epps withdrew the other day and will stay with Oklahoma State. The departin player with the most interest in Freshman All-American and talented edge rusher Wendell Gregory surpirsed folks, me included, and committed to Kansas State and new head coach Collin Klein on Monday night (Jan. 12). That was part of a rsah of players that committed.

The most surprising and part of history making was former Oklahoma State cornerback D.J. McKinney. The talented young Cowboy transferred to Colorado three years ago and started at corner for Coach Prime, Deion Sanders for most of two seasons. Now, McKinney was part of a four player portal commitment rush to previously portal silent Notre Dame.

Meanwhile, the new Oklahoma State head coach Eric Morris and his staff have loaded up with 44 portal transfers to offset all of the losses and hopefully load the Oklahoma State roster moving forward with more talent ready to have much greater success.

The new transfer portal window opened on January 2 and runs through January 16.
