Over/Under Results: Lots of Pushing Going On Between Oklahoma State and Baylor

STILLWATER – What a wild and wacky few weeks in Stillwater it’s been. Oklahoma State fired Mike Gundy exactly one week ago today, the Pokes lost to Baylor on Saturday, 45-27, but had some of the best offensive output in years, and then offensive quality control analyst Clint Bowen was promoted to interim defensive coordinator after Todd Grantham was fired on Sunday. 

So, let’s try and inject some normalcy into the week, huh? We’re going to take a look back at our Over/Under article from game day and see how we stacked up

Starting off is over/under three offensive touchdowns. It was a push on the day as Sam Jackson V threw a touchdown pass to tight end Josh Ford and Trent Howland had a career-day rushing the ball with two touchdowns.

Over/under 200 passing yards from Zane Flores. Flores actually cleared that number easily as he finished with 232 yards on 23-of-41 passing. 

Over/under one sack ended up being a push as well as Taje McCoy recorded the lone sack of the day for the Pokes. They also recorded four tackles for loss. It was a solid day for the Pokes’ offensive line as well as they held Baylor to just one sack on the other side.

Over/under one forced turnover. Push, push, push. This is going to turn out to be a very conservative day of picks from us. The Cowboys forced just one fumble, which was recorded by safety Dylan Smith. 

Over/under two made field goals. Let’s go ahead and finish out the push-fest as Logan Ward hit two field goals in the second half, one from 39 yards and the other from 42 yards.
