It has been a rough fall for Oklahoma State athletics. Football is 1-5 and the school’s winningest head coach Mike Gundy was dismissed a month ago. I can tell you that basketball head coach Steve Lutz was seeing an opportunity to seize some positive attention and move the Oklahoma State needle back toward being a basketball school. He needed a big splash in Birmingham, Ala, and he got it. He actually got even more than he could have expected. More time as in overtime.

WOW!!

Nice pre-start, showing lots of promise, especially with so many on the injured list!

Was that our best lineup? The article doesn't give many clues about the lineup or rotation.

Is one of more of the injured players expected to be an eventual starter?

Who has the 411 on these guys?

Nice win and effort for an exhibition game.

That was a fun game. Refs were crazy with all the fouls so the pace was awkward, but I think the backcourt has a chance to be very good. Roy in particular is a stud, probably the best scoring guard here since Cade.

Frontcourt is a work in progress, Lefteris looked decent and Vukovic is improved from last year. I was disappointed in the Oregon State transfer, but maybe he just couldn't get his rhythm with the foul trouble.
