I spent Thanksgiving flying a North Texas flag over my Oklahoma State tailgate trailer. No, seriously. I was in a Denton subdivision, OSU trailer parked in the driveway, Pistol Pete plastered on the side, a Mean Green flag snapping above it, turkey and ribs rolling on the smoker. It looked like the world’s most confused bowl game – Cowboys vs. Mean Green – being held in my brother-in-law’s cul-de-sac.
