Our Thoughts: Thornton and his LaVega (11-2) teammates will play West Orange Stark in the Class 4A-II State Quarterfinals on Friday (Dec. 5). They beat LaMarque 33-6 in the Region III final last week and Thornton had four receptions for 57-yards and a touchdown. He is an excellent prospect, likely slot receiver but his vertical gives him more height.
