STILLWATER – It was a tale of two halves as Oklahoma State held off a streaking Cal State Fullerton for a 94-89 win.

With the win, the Cowboys moved to 11-1 overall on the season.

Anthony Roy led the Pokes in scoring with 22 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the floor, with all six coming from 3-point range. He also went 4-of-4 from the free throw line. The biggest problem with Roy’s stat line is 18 of his 22 points came in the first half. He attempted just one shot in the second hall.

Both Christian Coleman and Vyctorius Miller had 20 points apiece, Miller on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor, 4-of-6 from 3-point range and 4-of-7 from the free throw line and Coleman on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor.

Isaiah Coleman finished with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor and had five rebounds, while Andrija Vukovich led the team with seven rebounds.

As a team, the Cowboys shot 51% from the floor, 47% from 3-point range and just 67% from the free throw line on 14-of-21 shooting. It was tied 35 apiece in rebounds, with the Pokes scoring 26 points off the bench and outscored in the paint 34-32. The Cowboys also turned the ball over three more times, 17-14, leading to 27 points on the other end for the Titans.

As mentioned above, it was a tale of two halves for both teams. The Cowboys were electric in the first half, leading 50-34 at the break. They shot nearly 50% from the floor, while holding CSF to just 23% shooting from the floor. The Pokes were also 12-of-24 shooting from 3-point range. Both Roy and Christian Coleman were in double figures.

Flip to the second half.

The Titans couldn’t hardly miss as they shot nearly 60% from the floor and nearly 70% from 3-point range, outscoring the Pokes 55-44 in the second half.

The Cowboys are back in action after Christmas as they’ll host Bethune-Cookman on December 29.
