STILLWATER – It appears Oklahoma State is losing some experience from the interior defensive line. According to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos, defensive lineman De’Marion Thomas is set to enter the transfer portal.
Thomas elected to sit out the remainder of the 2025 season and redshirt after Mike Gundy was fired in late September. Thomas wasn’t included in our article on Monday on the roster rebuild.
Thomas transferred to OSU from Vanderbilt during the offseason and was slated to play a big role in the Pokes’ defense in both the 2025 and upcoming 2026 season as a redshirt junior.
Prior to him announcing a redshirt season, Thomas had recorded 13 total tackles through the first four games of the season. He had four against UT Martin and Tulsa, three against Oregon and two against Baylor. He also has half a tackle for loss.
This marks the 33rd OSU player to enter the transfer portal, with Thomas already being listed on our portal tracker as a redshirt.
