STILLWATER – In a move Pokes Report has been reporting for a few weeks now, Oklahoma State has officially hired North Texas offensive line coach, Cody Crill.
Eric Morris is also bringing in assistant defensive line coach, Mike O’Guin, who spent the past three seasons at Texas State.
Crill was Morris’ offensive coordinator at Incarnate Word from 2018-21 and joined the North Texas staff as offensive line coach in 2025. He was the offensive line coach for the DC Defenders in 2022 and 2023 before taking the same role at Marshall in 2024.
The UNT offense had a ton of success this season, with Crill’s offensive line helping play a big role. The Mean Green led the FBS in scoring offense, total offense and first downs in 2025, while ranking in top five in several categories, including passing offensive and pass efficiency.
Running back Caleb Hawkins also led the nation in rushing touchdowns, scoring and total touchdowns.
As for O’Guin, he spent the past three seasons as the defensive line coach at Texas State. In his first year, the Bobcats led the nation in tackles for loss and in the top 10 in sacks, while setting the program’s sack record in a season with 40.0.
