STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is losing another quarterback to the transfer portal. On Thursday, Hauss Hejny took to social media to announce he’s entering the portal.
There are now no quarterbacks in the room that played under former head coach Mike Gundy.
Hejny transferred to Stillwater last spring, following his former offensive coordinator, Doug Meacham. His time with the Cowboys got off to a hot start as he had nearly 100 passing yards on 50% completion, and four carries for 27 yards and one touchdown against UT Martin in the season opener.
But all that came to an end quickly as he broke his foot early in the first half and didn’t see the field again the rest of the season.
Third-year redshirt freshman Zane Flores took over the starting duties after Hejny’s injuries, with both he and the Cowboy offense struggling throughout the season. Flores finished the season going 159-of-266 passing for 1,490 yards with just three touchdowns and seven picks.
Eric Morris and Co. have now added three quarterbacks in the 2026 class, three-star Broderick Vehrs signed back in December and Luke Tepas and Hunter Trusler have since committed and are set to sign in February.
